Presence Receipts

While trying to get the Presence Receipts to work, I realised why I couldnt wait to get it working again... I have always had this weird obsession of handwritten notes and inscriptions etc anyway... so imagine my joy when I can physically hold onto a piece of paper that is the closest thing to being in your marginalia.

Weirdly enough it would have been a lot easier to make this out of an ordinary printer. But then again, there is something about the flimsy receipts paper and their tiny dimensions, used as canvas for your hand-drawn doodles, to output as... this retro 1980s pixel looking art that makes it so very indispensable when compared to other run-of-the-mill prints or faxes etc.

Keeping that in mind, I had to dive into the backend server code and really try to dig out all of your receipts that never came through. Luckily, the server has a temporary file storage function that converts whatever you draw - basically an image - into a Base64 format (strings, numbers and binary data etc.) I could not bear the thought of just having lost them to the digital abyss somewhere lolll - You can click on them to enlarge.

😳 Im honestly surprised by how well you can make these given the limitations of the sketch board.
